Remember the Glyphs code in ALIAS? Fringe uses it too (of course, J. J. Abrams is a co-producter of both series).

The Glyphs shown leading into commercial breaks in each episode suggest a visual alphabetic code.

Piggybacking on the work done in a recent Ars Technica article, editor Julian Sanchez has cracked the code of the Fringe Glyphs that appear at the commercial breaks. Each glyph and position of the yellow dot indicate a different letter.
